Duties:
· Overseeing the continual growth of the science department
· Developing and setting up of science program, special events and activities
· Overseeing the general maintenance and upkeep of the science floors
· Management and training of local science staff team (Currently 11 people)
· Leading the Science’s team by example through hands-on application
· Manage Science’s budget, strategic and operational planning and development
· Identify effective ways of selling community program in conjunction with the Community
· and Sponsorship Coordinator
· Identification of local market science and technology needs, and tailoring of program to meet these needs
· Coordinate program development with external agencies or organization in conjunction with the CEO
· To ensure that teaching groups are organized so that the interests of all students are
· To Develop a comprehensive schools program & work effectively with School in order to
· ensure that appropriate systems and support mechanisms are used to maximize the
· achievement possibilities of all students.
· Development ad publication of the science book
· PR, networking and marketing
· Other duties as reasonably assigned by management
Position requires:
· Previous experience of working in Cambodia (or the region).
· Good communication skills – both written and verbal
· Experience in science education & communication
· Ability to be creative in seeking new business opportunity
· Strong commitment to team management approach, including good managerial, leadership,
· supervisory, interpersonal or negotiation skills
