Responsibilities:
- The Chief Compliance Officer position will oversee InstaPay payment compliance programs including operational activities, processor relationships, analytics, compliance, audit and risk.
- This role will require the candidate to establish and refine policies, procedures, agreements, forms across all business channels to ensure compliance with card brand, processor, and sponsor bank policies.
- The expectations of this position include developing, maintaining, and improving strategies, processes, and procedures that will be presented to the management team in order to ensure InstaPay compliance and industry best practices with a focus on AML.
- This individual will be responsible for managing Account Data Compromise/Compliance investigations and working with partners, merchants, and internal resources to ensure appropriate action and follow up is taken.
Requirement:
- Conduct in-depth, enhanced analysis of prospective and current Cambodia market and provide recommendations to management on how to proceed in accordance with CDD and KYC guidance
- A solid understanding of regulatory policy including financial crime, KYC & AML
- Sound knowledge and experience of the NBC handbook with the ability to provide guidance and support on the firms regulatory obligations
- Liaise and build relationships with the regulatory bodies/authority
- Develop the on-going KYC training plan to develop and enhance staff knowledge of business, product and AML policies including review and attestation processes
- The ability to write clear reports and discuss your recommendations at board level within a growing business
- Support the User Acceptance Testing as part of the end-to-end process of seeing requirements through to completion
- Review and conduct UAT test cases for compliance
- Lead or contribute to wide variety of KYC related projects by providing subject matter expertise
- Plan, design and implement comprehensive risk management policies, procedures and frameworks
- Proactively analyse the business to ensure sound management of risk functions
- Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5 years management / leadership experience within the KYC / AML control environment
- Must be a motivated, self-starter who can independently handle tasks with little oversight
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated organization skills with the ability to multi-task effectively in a high-volume environment
- High degree of attention to detail
- High proficiency with Excel and Power Point
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to quickly take on new tasks and complete it within deadline
- Strong follow-up skills; demonstrated accountability for role and responsibilities
- Able to handle highly sensitive and confidential data with utmost discretion.
- Candidate must be a supportive team player who will eagerly dive into tasks as requested from across the department
- Excellent written and verbal english communication skills
