Job Responsibilities

Procurement

  • Develop procurement policies and procedures;
  • Plan, organize and lead the overall procurement operations of the company;
  • Negotiate best possible procurement and logistics terms with vendors to ensure the company obtains the best commercial advantage possible;
  • Conducting commercial analysis and price benchmarking of all vendor proposals;
  • Pursue and implement cost reduction activities to improve overall business performance;
  • Manage problem solving, arising due to supplier’s failures, changes in legislation, tax, financial regulations;
  • Prevent procurement errors and costs involve to the company;
  • Drive Cost Reduction
  • Administer the system in coordination with other function persons to ensure purchase requisition and purchase orders are efficiently processed in line with policy and process that shall be implemented from time to time;
  • Prepare and coordinate for master list preparation and make sure approval is getting on time;
  • Supports when necessary those responsible for ensuring the company’s inventory is maintained to adequately meet the company’s operation needs, orders replenishment goods, coordinates organization of stocked items as requested from submitted with approved Purchase Requisitions;
  • All supporting docs such as quotation, RFP or any others related docs are in placed with proper filing for future records;
  • Coordination and supervision of Purchase Ordering and logistics process and delivery schedules;
  • Regularly update the proposed delivery schedule from vendors to all related departments;
  • Supports the research of product market information for the supply of goods and services;
  • Manages department budget and expenditures;
  • Monitor risk management activities;
  • Advises management in appropriate for the revise team job description to meet the actual job requirement when required;
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed;
  • Knowledge of GMP and HACCP;
  • Contribute and actively participate for BRC and make sure the area of responsibility are well attended and well implemented;
  • Perform other related duties as assigned;

Logistics

  • Develop logistics policies and procedures/workflow;
  • Develop warehouse policies and procedures/workflow;
  • Develop operational processes to improve service and reduce cost of transportation;
  • Ensure the time arrangement with forwarder and vendors are set up professionally and efficiently at all times;
  • Liaise between forwarder and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of shipments;
  • To ensure customs clearance docs are ready on time when needed;
  • To ensure arrival notice be received on time from respective forwarder to avoid extra storage cost incur;
  • To ensure all relevant documents is in hands and submit to third party on time by filing a copied at own for reference;
  • Manage proper documentation on the customer’s behalf;
  • All correspondences are timely and clearly response;
  • To ensure the process of transportation be control and follow up;
  • Control the daily work flow to ensure agreed service levels are met or exceeded;
  • To ensure company policies and guidelines are adherence;
  • Develop a customer contact list for Stock & Distribution;
  • To ensure products are deliver to stock on time in good condition and meet the deadline;
  • To ensure zero claims paid out as a result of origin service failure;
  • Keep up to date of all suppliers source list in Company financial system;
  • Manages department budget and expenditures;

 Requirement:

  • Bachelor degree in Management, Business , Finance or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement and a freight forwarding or other logistics role.
  • Understanding integrated supply chain and logistic concepts and be able to communicate supply

Chain objectives clearly and convey the benefit to the Company.

  • Knowledge of local / International logistics functions.
  • Knowledge of Local taxes and Inco-term.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent planning and presentation skills.
  • Dynamic, self-motivated, initiative and able to communicate effectively with all levels.
  • Strong analytical skill, negotiating skills, attention to details and is target oriented.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management, inventory control, distribution and storage systems.
  • Time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in various stages of completion

Efficiently and effectively;

  • Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Good budgeting and IT skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Good communication skill and fluent in both written & spoken in Chinese is priority.
  • Good both written & spoken in English.

Working Hour:7:00am-4:00pm

Working Date: Mon-Sat
